How to play.

Build

Choose one of nine tower families and place it according to range, target type, and firing lane.

Enemies

Enemy waves follow fixed paths and award bounties. Fliers, burrowers, thieves, and shields require different towers.

Defend

Protect the core against ground, air, and specialist enemies. Cuby joins the defence automatically.

Upgrade

Each tower has three upgrade tiers and two specialisations. Placement and upgrades draw from the same budget.

Three recorded matches.

Three matches on forest, ice, and volcano maps: enemy waves, varied tower types, and a boss fight.

The nine towers.

Shown at full upgrade—with role, suitable placement, and both specialisations.

Neutral

Sentry

Long range, hits ground and air. At junctions it covers several lanes.

Fork: Rail Shot · Scatter Shot
Blast

Rocket Launcher

Clears groups with splash damage. Behind corners its close dead zone stays protected.

Fork: Rocket Barrage · Bunker Buster
Electric

Tesla

Chain lightning jumps through packed ranks. Pair it with poison or frost for powerful reactions.

Fork: Tesla Coil · Arc Lance
Fire

Fireball

Burns groups in confined spaces. Gravity keeps targets inside the impact.

Fork: Meteor Trail · Brand Mark
Ice

Cold Snap

Slows entire waves. Before artillery it creates extra firing time.

Fork: Deep Freeze · Permafrost
Void

Gravity Well

Pulls stragglers back and bundles targets. The setup tower for every area weapon.

Fork: Black Hole · Gravity Trap
Poison

Poison Cloud

Covers long lanes with damage over time. The earlier on the path, the longer poison works.

Fork: Plague Core · Spore Field
Soap

Soap Blaster

Traps ground and air targets in bubbles. Opens safe firing windows for heavy towers.

Fork: Double Bubble · Sticky Bubble
Dice

Dice Works

Rolls burn, frost, stun or critical hits. Flexible, but never entirely predictable.

Fork: Double Six · Cascade
Tactics Two elements in the same firing lane trigger reactions. Choke points increase the effect of area and control towers.

The invaders.

Familiar faces from Cuby Arena. They kept their peculiarities and now have marching orders.

SphereIt worries about everything a little and keeps rolling anyway. Fast, numerous, direct.
TetrahedronHas a plan, a deck and far too much momentum. Its high usually ends abruptly.
SwarmEvery one wants to get through first. Harmless alone, a very bad idea together.
CuboidSlow, heavy and unable to forget. It carries more hits than it shows.
PopperBlinks, sprints and declares every breach an emergency. The core pays double.
PrismFlawless, glossy and untouchable from the front. One good shot behind the façade is enough.
MothKeeps its distance, takes aerial shortcuts and only comes down briefly. Bring anti-air.
ThiefClaims it needs your gold more than you do. Takes it at the core and promises to improve while fleeing.
BurrowerDisappears when things get uncomfortable. Invulnerable underground, vulnerable on return.
Portal LetterArrives with colleagues and spells the house name mid-attack. Vain, but profitable.
Mini CursorCannot fly straight and has no intention of trying. Zigzags ahead as boss escort.
CursorConsiders itself the hand above Cubeworld. Teleports, clicks and expects obedience.

The bosses.

Every map ends with an enemy that brings its own rule and leaves a relic behind.

The Warden

It guards nothing now, so it claims your core. Its shield plate makes it invulnerable until you force an opening.

The Hourglass Colossus

It considers standing still a defeat. When cornered, it burrows away and drills toward a better future.

The Frost Monarch

To it, silence means control. It freezes your strongest towers and calls the resulting quiet peace.

The Magma Core

It does not want to win, only to hit. Crack its shell and it divides its rage into two smaller problems.

The Reflection

It considers itself the more convincing original. Its decoys waste your fire while the real one advances.

The Cursor

It believes Cubeworld is merely an interface. It teleports, clicks through your order and intends to close everything.

The defence starts with wave one.
